Claire is Frank's equally manipulative wife, who could definitely defeat Cersei Lannister in a duel. Where To Stream It: Games of cards tv show The Borgias 2011-2013 Why You'll Like It: A sprawling family with an appetite for power! Complete lack of separation between church and state! Elaborate period piece costumes! You'll be craving all that once Game of Thrones is over and you're back to your normal life. Luckily, you can sate yourself with the The Borgias, a show about a family who tries to take control of Renaissance-era Italy. The savvy manipulations carried out by the real-life Cesare Borgia, in the show, inspired Nicolo Macchiavelli to write his famous political treatise on politics, The Prince. Ring a Lannister bell? Where To Stream It: Netflix Spartacus 2010-2013 Why You'll Like It: Game of Thrones specializes in sex, blood, and fight scenes. And hooray, so does Spartacus. This Starz show retells the famous legend of Spartacus, played here by Andy Whitfield and later Liam McIntyre, a Thracian warrior who's sold into slavery and confined to the gruesome gladiator pits. Spartacus becomes legendary for inciting a massive slave rebellion, à la Daenerys Targaryen. A warning: Spartacus' body count-per-episode far exceeds that of Game of Thrones'. Where To Stream It: Starz Into the Badlands 2015-present Why You'll Like It: Into the Badlands is set so far into the future that the characters' world more resembles that of Game of Thrones than our present day. Citizens in the Badlands work tirelessly for their feudal masters as servants "cogs"prostitutes "dolls" or soldiers "clippers". In this world, Sunny Daniel Wuhead clipper to the Badlands' most powerful battle, steals a boy from nomadic troops who's destined to unleash a powerful energy one day. Think "Prince That Was Promised. Where To Stream It: Netflix The Last Kingdom 2015-present While You'll Like It: If you want to see characters wear fur and bounce around on horseback, as they do in Winterfell, then The Last Kingdom is your best bet. The series is set in England in the year 872, right after the separate kingdoms have fallen under Danish rule think like Targaryens flying over Westeros with dragons. Our hero, Uhtred Alexander Dreymonhas an identity crisis as big as Jon Snow's. Though he was born a Saxon, he was raised by Danes. Uhtred must balance his loyalties between his ancestors and the people who raised him. Where To Stream It: Netflix Vikings 2013-present While You'll Like It: The Vikings were history's Greyjoy family. Instead of setting sail from the Iron Islands, the Norsemen depicted in Vikings live in medieval Scandinavia. To aid his dreams of exploring and raiding far-off lands, our protagonist Ragnar Lothbrok Travis Fimmel develops a new, more powerful boat, capable of traveling farther than had been possible.
